We have used total station automatic levels before they became Leica and are a successor to the 1970’s NA1 / NAK1. 

This NA 28 has a horizontal circle as standard although it is a simple circular scale. 

This product of a series which also included the (orange!) NA20 and NA24. The number indicates the magnification of this is not a ‘2’ series level.

It’s high accuracy as well as fast in 1.5 mm / km just as the NA1. 

We have used  two orange models that have accuracies of 2.5 and 2.0 mm / km and are therefore ‘orange’ indicating they were not meant for ‘true’ survey work. It is one of about 20.000 produced with high performance level.
